A hopeless romantic.
For all of her life, (Y/N) had been one of these people. Watching cheesy romance movies, reading romance novels, sighing dreamily at the sight of other couples, and day-dreaming of perfect dates that couldn't go any better.
That's why she was sitting at the side of the basketball court this very fine day, admiring the stoic back of one boy named Jason Todd.
Ahh... Jason Todd. He was a hunk.
"Stop staring!" A girl standing near (Y/N) whispers harshly, slapping the girl playfully on the shoulder. (Y/N) merely winces at the thought that she had been caught, and ignores the stinging pain in her shoulder.
"Come on Ania. It's not like he's going to notice or anything..." (Y/N) trails off, fiddling with her fingers nervously. What if he did notice though? Would he suddenly approach her, get down on one knee, and hand her a rose like in the movies? It would be love at first sight!
Then he'd lean in an-
Maybe that was going too far.
"Of course he's going to realize you've been watching him. Have you seen his freakish relfexes? He sees everything!" Ania stresses, gesturing towards Jason, who was dribbling a basketball in front of three intimidating boys.
One boy lunges for the ball in his hand, only to have Jason dodge it swiftly, and cut around the two others with ease. It wasn't long before he had made a shot, an impressive three-pointer.
"See? He totally just wiped those guys off like they were nothing!"
"That doesn't really prove anything..." (Y/N) mumbles, crossing her arms against her chest.
"Yes it does! Here let me give it to you straight- I- watch out!" Ania quickly says, reaching her hand out as to push (Y/N) out of the way, but all in vain.
A hard object slams into (Y/N)'s head, and the world turns black.
...
"-ey..."
"-ak...up..."
"Wake up..."
"WAKE UP!"
With a startling awakening, (Y/N) jumps up at the sudden yell in her ear.
"Sheesh Ania! Couldn't you have been more quieter?"
Ania, sitting besides (Y/N)'s bed, looks at her with tears falling down her cheeks.
Suddenly, with a tackle, (Y/N) captures the poor girl in her arms.
"I was so worried (Y/N)!!! I thought you were dead!"
(Y/N) sweat-dropped.
"What happened anyways?" (Y/N) asked. She had the faintest idea that a basketball had slammed her in the head, but she wasn't quite too sure if that was right.
Ania opens her mouth, but before she says anything another voice interrupts their moment of friendship.
"One of the guys got mad, threw the basketball, and before we knew it you were the poor target of his anger."
(Y/N) turns, wide-eyed at the newcomer, knowing that voice very well.
Jason Todd.
A hopeless romantic's dream come true.
"I- uh..." (Y/N) stutters, before glancing to Ania for help.
Ania shrugs.
"I'll apologize on his behalf... we all have a very... short-temper... I'll take full responsibility." He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly, as if he'd just admit one of his biggest secrets.
Ania sits back down on her chair, and folds her hands nicely on her lap.
"Jason was the one who carried you here." She states, grinning devilishly.
(Y/N) suddenly gets thrown into another day-dream, her imagination running hay-wire as she imagined Jason in a princely getup- sweeping (Y/N) up into a princess carry.
"No worries my love, all will be all right."
"-ucky... are you listening (Y/N)?"
"Huh what?" (Y/N) snaps her head towards Ania, who stares back at her with amusement.
"I said it was lucky you didn't get a concussion. It wouldn't have been nice if you had to be sent to the hospital or anything like that... besides Jason here would miss you!"
Jason sputters.
"What are you going on about?"
Ania straightens her back like a sophisticated lady, and lifts her chin proudly.
"Why- Jason said he'd take responsibility right? Well, he'll need to take care of you from now on won't he? I mean, you might still be a little tipsy after that whole incident. That's why he'll give you his number, just in case anything happens."
"Hey wait- I didn't agree to any of this-..." Jason begins, but Ania brings a finger to her lips abruptly.
"Hush hush, it's alright. Just give her your phone number, you know, just in case something bad happens again."
Jason stares at her for a long moment, before sighing in defeat.
"Here, I just happen to have a pen." Ania begins, throwing a blue ball-point pen at the boy, who caught it with ease. "I just don't have any paper..."
He huffs, "No problem." and abruptly grabs (Y/N)'s hand.
"And I ask you (Y/N) (L/N) to be my wi-"
"Here you are. My number."
Before she knew it, Jason had written his phone number on her hand, and she raises her hand to examine it.
His handwriting was messy.
Was it weird that she thought that was cute?
"Call me if you get into trouble or anything." The boy waves his hand, and leaves the room as quickly as he had come.
"Aren't you glad you have a friend like me?" Ania grins.

Jason Todd x Reader : City Night Lights : Part 1
Title: City Night Lights
Word Count: 873
Pairing: Red Hood // Jason Todd x Reader
For the fourth time this month I had fallen asleep on the roof of my apartment in Gotham. I awoke when the sun did. I groggily opened my eyes, and pathetically sat up awkwardly whipping the drool from my face. I don’t know why I keep falling asleep there I just do. I always remember staying up late, not being able to fall asleep and wanting to go look at the lights of this city. I sighed, looking around, hearing car doors slam and the morning bird calls.
I stood up and stretched, and also yawning. I look forward over some of our neighbor buildings, I s

Jason Todd x reader, why didn't you tell me
Jason turned around to look at her. She was upset and on the verge of tears. He needed to think up something. Jason sat down on the couch and started to ponder. He looked at her while she just stared at him blankly.
"Why didn't you tell me?" (Y/N) started out.
"I was going to, I promise. But I..." his thoughts trailed off, he was going to tell her. He was going to tell her everything, but as always he was either too scared or too forgetful.
"But what, Jason? You go out every night and come back with bruises and broken bones." She ran her hands through her hair. "Did you think I wouldn't catch on? Jason, I was worried

Nightwing x Reader- You need Sleep
“How long has it been since you got any sleep?” You asked, standing in the doorway to his little hideout with your hands on your hips.
“I had a power-nap about 10 minutes ago.” He responded without even looking up from the screen.
You sighed, placing two fingers onto the bridge of your nose and walking further into the room to stand beside him. The two of you had been working on a case together, and you’d left him to try and figure out who was behind it all- after all, even costumed vigilantes needed breaks. But it had been almost two days since he’d left the hideout, and you were getting frustrated that he
